Key Responsibilities - Warehouse Manager
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including managing a team of warehouse workers and coordinating the receiving and distribution of products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels and identifying any discrepancies.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe handling and storage of pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry-specific guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and marketing, to plan and coordinate the movement of products.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to inform decision-making and assess the performance of the warehouse.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement long-term plans for the warehouse.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, including negotiating contracts and pricing.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and well-maintained, including conducting regular inspections and making necessary repairs.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the integrity of pharmaceutical products.
  • Monitor and manage the use of warehouse equipment, including organizing repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior warehouse staff to develop their skills and knowledge.


  • Manage the hiring and onboarding process for new warehouse employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to warehouse staff.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies or systems to improve warehouse operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions to ensure the safety of warehouse staff.
  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and cGMP requirements.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
  • Plan work rotes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc).
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Qualifications - Warehouse Manager
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry, such as GMP.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or other continuous improvement training is a plus.
