Description

Dimension

Limit: ± 2 mm of the measured width of the film

Grammage

Take a piece of PVDC film and cut a perfectly square piece of 5 x 5 cm or based on the specimen and weigh. Calculate the GSM

Calculation:

Unit: ± 8% of the specified grammage.

Pin Holes

No pinholes should be present

Thickness of Film

Take a piece of PVDC film and cut a perfect square piece of 5 x 5 cm of size based on the specimen and weigh it. Calculate the thickness of the PVC film using the formula

Calculation:

NOTE: 1.41 is the density of the PVDC

Limit: ± 8% of the specified thickness of the PVC

Cleanliness Check

Check the cleanliness of the PVDC film. The test passes if the films are free from dirty, mutilated, torn or stained and pinholes
